Night 12 - Rockhampton

So......after 3 nights in Gladstone we head north again to Rockhampton. Its about 25 degrees, great to be in the heat again. We arrive at our campground and the kids see the pool and waterslide, there goes the schoolwork for the day!! The oldies here at the campground couldnt believe there were kids in the pool in the middle of winter, they drew quite a crowd of people watching! We think its hot, they dont!!



We were all in stitches laughing at Craig going down the slide. Kai especially was doubled over in fits of laughter at the speed he was going. Force = Mass X acceleration!!!



We are the youngest by about 30 years, I thought we would have met some travelling families by now but so far we havent. I love the way everyone is so passionate about caravanning and seeing Australia. All the vanner's wave to eachother as they pass and everyone always asks where we have been and where we are headed.

Craig found a few coconut palms so he sent Kai up to get one. We cracked them open, drank the milk and ate the coconut.



Tomorrow we are visiting Capricorn Caves which Im sure will be great.
